Friday T&A: Whole Lotta Rosie Edition
As giant wastes of time, effort, and especially taxpayer money go, that investigation has got to be one of the best examples in recent times - not the best, since unlike the Obarmy "stimulus" package it hasn't yet cost over $832B and resulted in... basically nothing by way of job growth. If anything, the probe has resulted in significant job gains in the most parasitic sectors of the economy - which is to say, among lawyers.
It's enough to make a grown man take up drinking as a way to numb the pain caused by such epic stupidity.
While we are on the subject of pain-numbing - it is also Friday today, and that of course means that everyone's favourite part of this 'ere 'umble blog needs to get another installment of feminine beauty to cheer us all up.
I am, of course, more than happy to oblige.
This week's featured lady is British glamour model, internet celebrity, and, er, "actress" Rosie Roff. (When I write "actress", I do not mean that she does those sorts of movies, I mean that I have never heard of her. Then again, the last movie that I saw in the theatres was Blade Runner 2049, and that too because someone else bought the tickets, so I'm not exactly "up" on pop culture.)
It is not exactly any great mystery to figure out why she is in considerable demand from publishers of "lad mags" these days.
Happy Friday, boys. Enjoy the weekend, get some rest, and take a page from our friend Adam's book and try to be grateful for all of the good things in your lives. As I have learned quite painfully over the last few months, it is easy to forget how good your life is until you are forced to confront the possibility of losing everything.
BONUS: Here is the song which inspired the title, and it is not at all difficult to see why.
